AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Been trying to get this shit pieced together for over 2 hours.. More like 3.... They give instructions for hooking up the cable box to the TV or the VCR.. Think most people don't have a VCR and a DVD Player????? Now the screen is black, and talking to customer gets nowhere.. They say, give it 20 minutes for complete activation.... Last time I gave it over an hour.... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH



I HAVE THREE MORE DUMB ASS ONES TO HOOK UP!!! AND THEY ARE ALL CONFIGURED DIFFERENTLY!!!!!!!!!

Well I made it back alive... WOOHOO



After the last vacation, I really wasn't going into this one with a great frame of mind... It turned out pretty good. Went to The Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, The Escalante Grand Staircase, Zion national Park, Drove through Vegas, went to the Mojave Desert... Got a little freaked out, cause it was about 115 degrees so i was a little nervous about driving through the park (When it's 96F at 8 AM you know it's going to get way worse). Only went part way. Then drive to Joshua Tree National Park, met my sis from VR who is super kick arse... We just fell into conversation, nothing awkward or anything.. I swear we must have been really related in a past life or something... Dropped her back off to her car, drove to the Cholla Gardens (cool looking cacti) down to southern Arizona to the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument... Ended up 7 miles north of Mexico... that was interesting... All the check points we had to go through.... blah! Then over to the White Sands national park... It looks like snow in pictures... I was really tempted to rent a sled and go down the hills it was pretty cool... Then to Carlsbad Caverns.. ended up going through something in the caves... Not sure what happened.. I started sweating, and had a rough time breathing.... it was 56 degrees.... Wonder if I have some psychological issue with caves.. Not sure why, I love caves! Anyway, then went to Roswell... Was a bit disappointed in Roswell, again... then over to texas, and then to oklahoma then kansas then back to nebraska and iowa and then back home to illinois... tada! that was my trip.. yay :) Only thing that happened on the way home was an overturned pick up truck... Just happened, no squads or ambulance or traffic jam yet... Wonder what the outcome of that was....



I come home to a mess, then my garage door ended up slipping out of its tracks, and my poor dog got Pneumonia! I didn't know dogs could get that. 29 years of having dogs, that has never happened... Poor thing keeps coughing, sneezing, sniffling, wheezing. I took her to the vet yesterday, the vet said the Flu so he gave her an injection, cause her temp was elevated. Then she should have been better today and she wasn't she we brought her back in, the vet did a Radiograph on her, and saw she has Pneumonia. Gave her another injection, plus I have to give her an oral antibiotic 2 times a day and cough medicine 2-3 times a day... Which is not working... I just hope she can get her air... She does not sound good :( Hope she gets better soon! Never bringing her to that Boarding place again.... I will either take her on the next trip or not go on a trip until.... well..... She had dried blood on her ears (thinking it was from fly bites) and she wouldn't eat.... You would think the people there would have had the decency to call... I swear people are just stupid! So now I can go for another vacation lol...
